According to our field investigations and relevant documents, the paper attempts to discuss the recent dynamics of deposition and erosion of beach area in Nantong. Jiangsu, to-find out how the mud flat is changed to scour or deposit and how this situation will develop in future, and to put forward the proposal for the resources exploitation.
