Information diffusion method for regional environmental risk assessment
|
Abstract:
An information diffusion method is proposed which assesses regional environmental risk on the basis of gridding. In developing this new method, the authors considered the characteristics of regional environmental risk, which is multi-source,multi-path and multi-object.The information about a single environmental risk source can be diffused effectively by applying fuzzy set theory.Regional environmental risk values obtained from information diffusion can be clustered based on classification criteria, producing a partitioned space figure of different environmental risk levels. Two towns,Huangge and Nansha,in the Nansha Area of Guangzhou were chosen as case studies. The regional environmental risk assessment results and partition maps drawn from this information diffusion method can provide the local government with better information for optimizing the distribution of industry, establishing risk prevention measures and managing emergencies.
