Decolorization of the Wastewater Containing Crystal Violet by Foam Separation

Abstract:
The decolorization process of wastewater by foam separation was studied by using aqueous solution of crystal violet as a research system. The influences of pH value, gas flow rate, concentration of surfactant and volume of the solution on the decolorization process were investigated by using sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS) as the surfactant.
