Abstract:

The NdFeB magnet is mainly composed of Nd 2Fe 14B,the main phase,Nd-rich phase and B-rich phase.In this paper,the electrochemical behaviors of these phases,such as the corrosion potential and the polarization specific property,are studied in different electrolytical solutions.It is shown that the corrosion mechanism of three phases in different corrosion media is different.The galvanic corrosion between the phases accelerates the phase-selective corrosion processing of the NdFeB magnet.
