A Numerical Study of the Impact of Antarctic Ozone Hole on the Globally Atmospheric Radiative Heating Field
|
Abstract:
in order to study the impact of Antarctic Ozone Hole on the global climate, a numericalexperiment was carried out with IAP 9L AGCM. This paper emphasizes on the radiative heating fieldaffected by the Ozone Hole. Experiments show that the reduction of ozone in high latitude and polarregion of the Southern Hemisphere affected radiative heating fields not only the local but also of theNorthern Hemisphere Stratosphere. Although the total radiative heating field in the middle tropospherechanged little, it changed considerably in the lower troposphere of both Hemisphere. These effects madethe global temperature field change obviously.
