Advances in Studies of Photoprotection Mechanism in Plants

Plant has evolved numerous photoprotective mechanisms to protect the photosynthetic apparatus from light-induced damage. The purpose of this article is to review briefly on recent studies of the photoprotective mechanism with regard to the triplet chlorophyll valve, energy dissipation and chlororespiratory.
