Progress and Perspective of Anther Culture in Forest
林木花药培养研究进展及展望

Comparing to crops, the anther culture has special significance for the genetic improvement of forest where genetic research and breeding is made difficult by the highly heterozygous nature of most trees. In order to accelerate the development of anther culture in forestry and extend its application fields, the advances of anther culture in forest home and abroad as well main factors affecting induction of haploid were summarized. In addition, the application perspective of anther culture of forest in the 21st century was discussed.
