EXTERNAL COUPLING COMPUTATION BETWEEN DISTINCT ELEMENT METHOD AND BOUNDARY ELEMENT METHOD
离散单元法与边界单元法的外部耦合计算

Based on the fact of the rock engineering and the character of the distinct element method, the independent modules are introduced to couple the distinct element method and the boundary element method in this paper. Reasonable physical model and simple computational method are taken in consideration. The process, character and effect of the method are validated with a case of excavation.
