LIQUID-SOLID COUPLED PROBLEM OF THE FLOW IN CONFINED STRATA UNDER TWO DIMENTIONAL IN-SITU STRESSES

Abstract:
Considening the perm eability varying w ith porosity, the liquid-solid coupled problem of the flow in confined strata subjected to tw o-dim ensional in-situ stresses is discussed. First, a decoupled m ethod is proposed, then the solution for the coupled distribution ofpore pressure and stress field is obtained analyti- cally. The com putation ofthe cases show s that the coupled effectcan not be ignored.
