NUMERICAL CHECK OF IN SITU STRESSES MEASURED AT VALLEY

Abstract:
Because of the disparity and poor identity of in situ stress measurements among different points at valley, a numerical check technique is presented, which is based on the form process of in situ stress field of valley and combined orthogonal experiment theory with 3 D elasto plastic FEM. It can be applied to check the representativeness of in situ stress measurements and their identity, and also simulate the in situ stress field of valley.
