LA-ICP-MS U-Pb geochronology of the detrital zircons from the Jiangxian Group in the Zhongtiao Mountain and its tectonic significance

Abstract:
The Zhongtiao Mountain is located in the southernmost part of Shanxi Province,which consists mainly of the Sushui Complex,Jiangxian Group,Zhongtiao Group,Danshanshi Group and Xiyanghe Group.Metasedimentary rocks,including metamorphic sandstone,semipelite,pelite,carbonate and volcanic rocks of the Jiangxian Group,are widely exposed and well preserved in the Zhongtiao Mountain.Eighty-five U-Pb data were obtained by LA-ICP-MS method for the detrital zircons in two metasedimentary rocks from Jiangxian Group in ...
