Calculation of thermodynamic conditions and characteristics for three types of hydrocarbon-hydrocarbon immiscible inclusion assemblages
|
Abstract:
The fluid inclusions trapped in immiscible hydrocarbon-hydrocarbon system are widely distributed in the nature.Because these inclusions have a complex composition and phase behavior, the discrimination of inclusion assemblages and calculation of thermodynamic parameters are usually hard to solve.According to the feature of phase behavior at the room temperature and the locations of the isochore intersect showing in T-p plane diagrams for two fluid inclusions with end-member in immiseible hydrocarbon- hydrocarbon system, three types of fluid inclusion assemblages are divided The characteristics of three types of fluid inclusion assemblages are introduced, the method of determination and parameters calculation for immiscible hydrocarbon-hydrocarbon inclusion assemblages are expounded, and the principles and method of the equations of phase behavior and the vapor-liquid equilibrium constants for homogenizing inclusions are demonstrated in this paper. At the same time, the determination, discrimination and calculation of three types of fluid inclusion assemblages for the simple immiscible hydrocarbon-hydrocarbon systems in the nature are presented as examples,in which the homogenization pressure not only are precisely calculated, but also the thermodynamic parameters with regard to fluid density and volume, etc.are accurately calculated by use of the equations of phase behavior and the vapor-liquid equilibrium constants. In the end the trapping temperature and pressure of fluid inclusion assemblages are also calculated by the application of the isochore intersect showing in p-T plane diagrams as two inclusions homogenized to gaseous and liquid phase.
