Rayleigh Lookup Tables for HY-1A CCD Data Processing
|
Abstract:
In ocean color remote sensing,Rayleigh scattering dominates the signal measured at the top-of-atmosphere(TOA).Therefore,as the first step in atmospheric correction,Rayleigh scattering item must be computed accurately and removed from the sensor measured total signal.According to the four bands of HY-1A CCD,Rayleigh reflectance under various conditions is computed using 6S model.Based on the computations, the Rayleigh reflectance features are analyzed, including the effect of atmospheric type, wavelength and band averaging resulting from the broad band width of this sensor. The HY-1A CCD Rayleigh lookup tables are generated, and applied to the remotely sensed data processing with the primary evaluation of its validity.
