Comparison Research of Synchronization Protocals for Parallel Discrete Event Simulation
|
Abstract:
Synchronization protocals for parallel discrete event simulation (PDES) is now one of the mainest research fields of the international discrete simulation community. PDES protacals can be classified into four classes: conservative, optimistic, hybrid and adaptive. Having been described as primary protocals, conservative protocals and optimistic protocals are then compared each other, this is followed by discussing hybrid protocals and adaptive protocals that are based on the first two classes of protocals. Finally, the problems of these four classes of synchronization protocals are analysed. The paper comes to a conclusion that new PDES protocals should be researched to satisfy the need of general practical application.
