Detection Time and Range Research During the Aircraft-Detection System Engagement
|
Abstract:
The first threat aircraft encountered during the mission flight is hostile detection system. The time and range of detection system required to identify the target for a given probability of detection are two important parameters for both sides. This paper develops a new way to get those parameters and also presents the calculation processes. Based on application samples, we also analyze the influences of Radar cross section (RCS) , speed and interfere targets to detection time and detection range. Sample results show the feasibility and validity of those methods and processes.
