MULTIPLIERS OF THE DIRECT SUM OF BANACH ALGEBRAS AND THE SPECTRAL THEORY

The representation of multipliers of the direct sum $\mathcal{A}\oplus\mathcal{A}$ of Banach algebras $\mathcal{A}$ is considered. By means of the representation, a series of results about the spectral theory of multipliers of $\mathcal{A}\oplus\mathcal{A}$ is given. At last, a result about strongly irreducible operators is obtained.
