Optimization Based on Genetic Algorithms for Construction Diversion Structures

Abstract:
Optimization for construction diversion structures is a nonlinear multi- criteria decision problem.With consideration of limitation of the traditional optimal methods,this paper presents a optimal method based on genetic algorithms for construction diversion structures to solve this problem.Under analyzing the hierarchy structure,the weights related to the criteria are determined with the improved analytic process( IAHP) .Firstly,a single- criteria optimal model is set up by transforming multi- criteria to single- criterion.Secondly,a genetic algorithm for the model is designed.Lastly,an example is given,which proves thatthe optimal method presented in the paper is feasible.
