On Identification of the Property Parameter of an Elastic System

The lateral vibration of an elastic system is described by a 4th order partial differential equation. However, some elastic objects, such as a bank, a chimney and so on, contain one segment which is in a kind of substance and is difficult to identify with. In this paper, one method for identifying the property parameter of the elastic system under point measurement is used to detect and isolate faults.
