DELECTION OF HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS DNA IN COLORECTAL CARCINOMA
|
Abstract:
Piopsy spesmens specimens from colorectum of 123 pahents were analysised for human papiIlomavirus (HPV) by polymerase chain reachon (PCR). We used genera consensus primers and type-specific primers (16,18). HPV DNA was delected in 14.6% of Piopies-There were two of 17 in normal (3.3%), colorechhs and inflammatory polyps, three of 17 in papillate adenomas (17.6%) and thirteen of 35 in colorectal. Detection rate of HPV DNA in normal, adjacent carcinoma and carcinoma were 13 / 35 (37.1%), 2 / 35(5.7%) and 1 / 35(2.9%)respechvely. HPV was predominahy type 18 in colorectal carcinoma. The inflammatory rate is higher in rectum and left colon than right colon.
