Development of Tibetan Medicine Database
常用藏药数据库的构建

Tibetan medicine database was constructed on the basis of MDL ISIS/Base database management system. Information of 148 Tibetan medicines were collected and selected to construct the database. The database consists of three tables. The first table is basic information of Tibetan medicines. It contains 11 attributes in total, such as property, origin, pharmacology and so on. The second table includes chemical information which contains physical, chemical and biological property of the compounds contained in the Tibetan medicines. The third table includes the reference information of the medicines and compounds. The database can be used for querying and mining the data of Tibetan medicine.
