A Review on flow Birefringence Method And Application

Abstract:
In this paper, the flow birefringence method is described based on the papers from the years of 1923 to 1989. The development and principle of the flow birefringence method are mentioned in details. Various applications are introduced, especially those on biomechanics, two and three dimensional flow visualization are given.
