Flow Visualization of Base Jet and Vortices Breakdown at Leading-edge of a Swept-back Wing

Flow visualization of base jet and vortices breakdown at leading-edge of a x-type winged body as well as base-pressure measurements have been carried out in an vertical water tunnel. Systematic comparison of flow pattern has been made for various base-jct velocties and three tvnes of tail hood.
