Application of Thermal Photoelasticity in Determing Residual Thermal Stress Field

In a metallic structure, the residual stress generated by thermal fatigue crack propagation is analized by thermal photoelastic technique. In order to get results with good accuracy, the parameters are adjusted to satisfy simulation condition during testing.
