The research of present situation of breeding population about Amur Sturgeon (A. schrencki)

Abstract:
A survey on the population structure of Acipenser schrencki in the Amur reach between Tongjiang City and Fuyuan County was conducted from May 10 to June 20 in 2010,and 90 fish of A.schrencki were measured,full length being between 96 and 201 cm,with average length(150.53±18.93) cm.Of 90 fish,full length of individual female was 113-201 cm,average length(163.14±22.24) cm;full length of individual male was 96-183 cm,average length(138.48 ±20.55)cm.The individual body weight was 3-44 kg,average weight(18.46±10.17) kg.The weight of individual male 7.5-44 kg,average weight(24.48±10.33) kg;The weight of individual female 3-30.5 kg,average weight(12.70±5.94)kg.The ratio between female and male of the breeding population was 1:1.05;individuals of age 16-20 were of dominance,representing 37.2% of the catch.Dominant individuals were 11-25 years of age,constituting 84.7% of the total.Growth equation of female in breeding population is y=0.001x3.3169,R2=0.9202,whilst growth equation of male in breeding population is y=0.0029x3.0899,R2=0.9375.
