An Infrared Transient Temperature Measuring Apparatus and Its Application to the Tensile Impact Testing
|
Abstract:
To investigate the fracture behavior with thermal coupling for materials at high speed deformation. An infrared transient temperature-measuring device is designed and maunfactured. After being calibrated dynamically, it is used in experiments with a pendulum testing machine of bar-to-bar tensile impact type. The transient temperature rising curves of three sample materials are obtained in fracture test for the first time. Some meaningful conclusions are drawn.
