Nanobiosensors Based on DNA Molecular Wire
|
Abstract:
DNA molecular wires, which are of electrical conductivity and Seebeck effect, are ideal materials that are used to construct the electrochemical nanobiosensors and thermocoupler. Here the preparation and mechanism of electrical conductivity of DNA wires are introduced, the molecular recognition mechanism of nanobiosensors based on DNA wires is depicted, and the principle of electrochemical nanobiosensor and thermocoupler is analyzed. Applications of these nanobiosensors are described for gene analysis and detection of single-base mutation.
