Up to now it is very difficult to predict the structure of the membrane proteins. In this paper we have predicted the secondary structures of two typical membrane proteins (bacteriorhodopsin and rhodopsin) using the neural network method The results show that the prediction of secondary structures of the membrane protein is consistent with the experimental data, therefore, it is significant We will further develop this method.
