The bacteriorhodopsin deposited films were applied to mimic the edge receptive field of the animal simple cell.On the basis of the artificial receptive field combined with artificial neuronal net,the image system for contour detection was constructed and successively detected the contour of image.The technology based on the biomolecular will promote the development of artificial vision,image technology and molecular electronic device.
