ALTERNATE CONTROL OF OPTOKINETIC NYSTAGMUS EYE-MOVEMENTS BY TWO DIFFERENT ISOLUMINANT MOVING CHROMATIC PATTERNS
|
Abstract:
Optokinetic nystagmus (OKN) eye movements can be elicited by isoluminant moving glatings which consist of only different color. The experimental data indicate the existence of chromatic channels for motion detection in the optokinetic system.(2)When the stimuli are two different isoluminant chromatic gratings moving moving in opposite din,OKN can be evoked alternately by each isoluminant cbornatic moving gratingS.There results reveal the atemate control mechanism of OKN system while tWo motion signals are input through different color channels.
