Costo-beneficio de las investigaciones inmunológicas en el Instituto Superior de Medicina Militar “Dr. Luis Díaz Soto”

a retrospective study of the cost-benefit of immunological tests performed at “dr luis díaz soto” higher institute of military medicine was carried out, which covered the period 1996 to 1999. databases were created using all the tests that were made at the immunology laboratory of the institution and total numbers and variation of percentages of altered tests were used. the study showed that too many tests used to be indicated for several reasons prior to the intervention of immune diagnosis experts. some educational strategies aimed at medical and paramedical staff were suggested to reduce the consumption of materials and reagents and to increase the quality of work
