%X the present article seeks to denote the role of the standards of conviction in relation to pretrial custody in chile. hence, reviewing the diverse implications these standards imply, it proposes the adoption of a special standard, in order to determine the acceptability of the factual assertions regarding the material element of the pretrial custody.
