%0 Journal Article %T El enfoque hist¨®rico cultural como marco conceptual para la investigaci¨®n educativa %A Rodr¨ªguez Arocho %A Wanda C. %J Parad¨ªgma %D 2010 %I Universidad Pedagogica Experimental Libertador %X in this work we argue in favor of the cultural-historical approach as a framework for educational research. we start this argument with a discussion of what is a conceptual framework and its role in research. we then examine the process that resulted in the construction of the cultural historical approach as a framework for research and expose a synthesis of its basic tenets. we argue that the cultural historical approach provides useful and valuable conceptual and methodological tools for the design of research projects that recognize and take into account the complexity of the processes implied in human development, teaching and learning. we illustrate the use of this tool through the analysis of two research programs of relevance to contemporary psychology and education. we conclude with some thoughts on the production of scientific knowledge and its implications %K educational research %K cultural historical approach %K epistemology %K methodology %K unit of analysis %K genetic method. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1011-22512010000100003&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
