%0 Journal Article %T Contra los estereotipos: Renato Rodr¨ªguez y la entrevista literaria %A Porras %A Mar¨ªa del Carmen %J N¨²cleo %D 2009 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X in spite of his condition as an outsider -or perhaps because of that condition-, literary criticism has considered that the work and the trajectory of renato rodr¨ªguez are representative of an authentic literary vocation. indifferent to the imperatives of the market on authors, while, at the same time, read and respected by the critics, this author has granted very few interviews. thus, we ask here: how has rodr¨ªguez assumed this dialogue, an obligatory contemporary consecration ritual for writers?; could these interviews occupy a designated place within the author£¿s work?; could they be considered just secondary or supporting material to understand his writing? from our perspective and based on the ideas of ¨¢ngel rama, n¨¦stor garc¨ªa canclini and leonor arfuch, the interviews are used by rodr¨ªguez in order to specify and clarify certain preconceived ideas about himself and his work. thus, he participates in them as a space from which he can make himself heard, perhaps not so much by the public, but more by the literary critics. %K renato rodr¨ªguez %K literary interview %K venezuelan literature. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0798-97842009000100011&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
