%X the paper reviews the selection criteria in those short-short story anthologies -micro-story anthologies- produced in hispanic america, from the earliest ones by ren¨¦ avil¨¦s fabila and juan armando epple, to the most recent ones by ra¨²l brasca and luis chitarroni. moreover, it examines the ways by which specialized journals incorporate texts, belonging to other literary modulations, as short-short stories. hereto, just as an example, the way the journal eku¨®reo has preceded is being analyzed. thus, this work tries to outline the reading model rules that govern the selection of microfictions to be published.
