%X this article aims to present the main psychosocial rehabilitation programs focused towards the improvement of life quality standards, autonomy, social integration and handling of the illness for people who suffer a severe enduring mental disorder, particularly schizophrenia. in addition, some methodological considerations will be pointed out about the application of such programs, their main elements and the importance of the implementation of programs and interventions which can have some guarantee of efficiency and utility.
