%X this paper collects bibliographic information about the goblin shark, mitsukurina owstoni (chondrichthyes: mitsukurinidae), an uncommon shark from deeper waters. one specimen of this species was captured near nenguange bay and it is recorded for first time in the colombian caribbbean.
