%0 Journal Article %T Ense£¿anza de la investigaci¨®n con un sistema de tutores durante la residencia de pediatr¨ªa %A Manjarin %A Mercedes %A Cutri %A Adri¨¢n %A Noguerol %A Eugenia %A Torres %A Fernando %A Ossorio %A Fabiana %A Ferrero %A Fernando %J Archivos argentinos de pediatr£¿-a %D 2007 %I Sociedad Argentina de Pediatria %X for the last 10 years, the hospital de ni£¿os "dr. pedro de elizalde" has carried out a mentor-based teaching research program during pediatric residency. this program is mandatory and aims to initiate young professionals in research and to increase their scientific production. it is based on formal curriculum activities, and includes the obligation to carry out a research project with close supervision from mentors. in 10 years, 318 projects have been developed under the program, with the participation of 100 mentors. although it cannot replace individual interest in research, this mandatory program increases scientific production and professional training. moreover, because it is included in the residents' schedule, it does not compete with other educational priorities. %K research %K residency %K medical education. %U http://www.scielo.org.ar/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0325-00752007000400010&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
