%X pneumoconiosis of electric arc welder or siderotic pneumoconiosis was described by doig and mclaughlin in 1936 as a lung disease caused by chronic inhalation of iron fumes in electric arc welders. we present a case report of electric arc welder siderosis associated with high levels of ferritin, without findings of iron deposit in any other organ.
