%0 Journal Article %T ESTADO NUTRICIONAL, PATR¨®N ALIMENTARIO Y TRANSICI¨®N NUTRICIONAL EN ESCOLARES DE DONMAT¨ªAS (ANTIOQUIA) %A ROSIQUE GRACIA %A JAVIER %A GARC¨ªA %A ANDR¨¦S FELIPE %A VILLADA G¨®MEZ %A BRESNHEV A %J Revista Colombiana de Antropolog¨ªa %D 2012 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X to analyse the potential food and nutritional transition in donmatias, and to compare it with other colombian studies at the micro-geographic level, we have determined the nutritional status of 197 school children (2-to-11 years) by anthropometry. we found 1.52% of chronic under-nutrition (z < -2) and no cases of acute under-nutrition. excess weight (25.39%), overweight and obesity jointly (26.70%) were high. the greater subcutaneous fat in boys than in girls was not significant. the dietary pattern was composed mainly by energetic foods in agreement with the energy excess found in the sample. the comparative findings, together with the association between the index of minimum basic needs (mbn) and nutrition indicators, support nutrition transition. %K nutritional status %K food patterns %K nutrition transition %K overweight. %U http://www.scielo.org.co/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0486-65252012000100005&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
