%X the objective of this paper is to analyze the increment in the level of contributions of an organization to the society, as an essential strategic goal, considering that such contributions are comprised of both the financial contribution, and an entire group of internal results and those which have an impact on society, that contribute to improve the people¡äs quality of life. the elaborated procedure is used as a methodological base in order to develop and implement the methodology for the integral evaluation of companies. based on the system approach applied to organizations and on the importance that is currently attributed to the knowledge management, it is made a proposal that allows the assessment of the level of contributions of an organization to the society.
