%X clusters of cairns located on the southwestern margin of the upper santa cruz river basin (argentina), at estancia bon accord are characterized in this paper. the minimum age of these structures is estimated by lichenometric analysis. similar lithic features recorded in patagonia are addressed and compared with those found at bon accord. finally, several hypotheses about their function are evaluated using previous regional and worldwide research.
