%X this is a patient with history of cornea burn in the left eye for three years. after having performed a therapeutic keratoplasty, extracapsular lens extraction and intraocular lens implantation a year later she progressed with limbic cell failure, cornea conjunctivalization and symblepharon. once autologous transplantation of these cells and coating with amniotic membrane (first case informed in the province) were performed, the patient improved significantly at 6 months of clinical follow-up, after which she underwent penetrating keratoplasty with optical purposes.
