%X a retrospective and cross-sectional study was conducted in 11 patients diagnosed with imperforate choanas, who were attended in the otorhinolaringology service of the southern children hospital from santiago de cuba, where the experience of the medical team in the treatment of these children for more than 30 working years (1970-2000) is stated.
