%X the clinical report of an elderly with history of prostate adenocarcinoma and ischemic cerebrovascular disease presumptively embolic, with complete arrhythmia due to auricular fibrillation is described. he attended the cardiology visit of the "saturnino lora" provincial teaching clinical surgical hospital in santiago de cuba because he presented symptoms of tiredness, dyspnea and transitory loss of consciousness several times. additional tests were conducted to decide whether to place a permanent pacemaker due to sinusal dysfunction as he was diagnosed a restrictive cardiomyopathy.
