%X the objective of this paper is to address the phenomenon of alterity in the philosophy of maurice merleau-ponty, a problem that remained unsolved in husserl's phenomenology. one of the strategies implemented by merleau-ponty in order to establish "normality" in the interaction among human beings is to re-contextualize the concepts of body and perception. strictly speaking, it could then be said that body and world intersect and remain connected through perception.
