%X the substitution reaction between lower order cyanocuprates and functionalized z-vinylic tellurides was investigated. a,b-unsaturated carbonyl compounds were obtained in excellent yields. changes in the reaction conditions afforded a,b-unsaturated esters in high diastereoselectivity.
