%X the hexane extract of leaves of erythroxylum passerinum yielded besides sitosterol, ¦Â-amyrin, lupeol and erythrodiol, ¦Â-amyrin palmitate, 3¦Â,28-dihydroxy-olean-12-enyl palmitate, 3¦Â,11¦Â-dihydroxy-olean-12-enyl palmitate, 3¦Â-hydroxy-11-oxo-olean-12-enyl palmitate and 3¦Â-hydroxy-11,12-epoxy-friedoolean-14-enyl palmitate. the structural elucidation of the isolates and of their derivatives were based on spectral data (1h and 13c nmr, ir and ms).
