%X piercings and tattoos are forms of body decoration. they are chosen because of their beauty, their valuing of the face or the body, their originality. they represent a signature of the person on their skin. however, other people do not recognize themselves in a skin that arrests them to an intolerable identity. thus, scarifications are a layout of themselves. it is about provoking your own pain in order to have less pain. scarifications are survival techniques for teenagers in suffering.
