%0 Journal Article %T Actividad de la enzima deshidrogenasa en un suelo calciorthids enmendado con residuos org¨¢nicos %A Acosta %A Yudith %A Paolini %A Jorge %J Agronom¨ªa Tropical %D 2005 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X in order of to evaluate the dynamic of the dehydrogenase activity in an calciorthids soil of the peninsula of paraguana (falcon state), amended with three organic wastes (sewage sludge, goat manure, and residue of the aloe vera production in dose of 1 and 2%. control and treatments were incubated aerobically, under controlled conditions of laboratory, during 64 days. the dehydrogenase activity has been proposed as an indicator of the biological activity of the soil and it is one of the commonly used methods to determine the activity of the microorganisms. the incorporation of the different organic materials to the soil increased the activity of this enzyme significantly (p=0,05) with regard to the control. this increment stayed until the end of the period of incubation, reaching values of 474 ¦Ìg tpf g-1 soil on dry weight by 24 h-1 for treatment with residues of the aloe vera production to 1% and 466 ¦Ìg tpf g-1 soil on dry weight by 24 h-1 for the treatment with goat manure to 2%; indicating an increase in the biological activity in this type of soil . in all the organic treatments applied, the increment on the activity was highest in the 2% dose and diminished with the time course. %K enzimatic activity %K dehydrogenase %K organic wastes %K calciorthids soil. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0002-192X2005000200004&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
