%X recent excavations in 20 stratigraphic wells within an area of 9 squared kilometers surrounding the main groups in the prehispanic site of oxpemul (pet¨¦n) have revealed some important data concerning the chronological sequence of its occupation from the middle preclassic to the late classic. materials will allow a comparative study with some materials from archaeological sites in r¨ªo bec and pet¨¦n.
